BART / Bus / AMTRAK

Bus Route 108 connects BART and AMTRAK stations with the VA Medical Center where the HCN Lab is located. For more information view the complete bus schedule.

If you are arriving from within the Bay Area, you can take BART to North Concord BART Station, then bus route 108 (westbound) to the VA Medical Clinic.

If you are arriving with AMRTAK take bus route 108 (eastbound) to the VA Medical Clinic.

Driving Directions

From Sacramento

Take US 80W (heading southwest) for 41.6 miles. Bear left on I 680 heading south for 17.5 miles. Turn right on HWY 4 heading west for 2.5 miles. Take the Martinez Center/Pine Street exit. Make an immediate left onto Center Street going southeast. Turn left at the light onto Muir road. Continue about 0.4 miles to the VA Medical Center on your right. Make a right through the Employee Entrance to the VA Medical Center and follow the drive to Research Building 4 (R4), EBIRE and Neurology, at the top of the hill.

From Davis

Begin on US 80W (heading southwest) for 32.6 miles. Bear left on I 680 heading south for 17.5 miles. Turn right on HWY 4 heading west for 2.5 miles. Take the Martinez Center/Pine Street exit. Make an immediate left onto Center Street going southeast. Turn left at the light onto Muir road. Continue about 0.4 miles to the VA Medical Center on your right. Make a right through the Employee Entrance to the VA Medical Center and follow the drive to Research Building 4 (R4), EBIRE and Neurology, at the top of the hill.

From San Francisco

Cross the Bay Bridge going east. Take I 80E (heading north) for 23 miles. Turn right onto HWY 4, staying on the left fork (towards Stockton) and heading east for 7.4 miles. Take the Martinez Center/Pine Street exit. Turn right onto Center Avenue. Make an immediate left at the light onto Muir road. Continue about 0.4 miles to the VA Medical Center on your right. Make a right through the Employee Entrance to the VA Medical Center and follow the drive to Research Building 4 (R4), EBIRE and Neurology, at the top of the hill.

From Berkeley

Take I 880 or I 580 north to I 80. Take I 80E (heading north) for 23 miles. Turn right onto HWY 4, staying on the left fork (towards Stockton) and heading east for 7.4 miles. Take CA-24 East towards Walnut Creek. Drive approximately 9 miles to the I-680 North exit towards Concord/Sacramento (left fork). Continue about 7 miles, then turn right on HWY 4 heading west for 2.5 miles. Take the Martinez Center/Pine Street exit. Make an immediate left onto Center Street going southeast. Turn left at the light onto Muir road. Continue about 0.4 miles to the VA Medical Center on your right. Make a right through the Employee Entrance to the VA Medical Center and follow the drive to Research Building 4 (R4), EBIRE and Neurology, at the top of the hill.
